Studied physics at the Technical University of Aachen and at the University of Bonn, graduated with diploma in 1997.

Awarded Dr. rer. nat. in 2001 from the Institut für Strahlen- und Kernphysik, University of Bonn (Neutron experiments at the Bonn Isochronous Cyclotron for investigation of nucleon-nucleon interactions in three-body systems).

Graduate scholarship from Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes.

Various German Research Association (DFG) research projects (detection efficiency of organic scintillators, directional effects in NaI(Tl) single cristals, neutron-proton scattering length).

Practical professional experience in the field of nuclear physics and accelerator technics.

Working in intellectual property law field since 2002.
