Studied Microbiology and Biochemistry at the Georg-August University Göttingen. Graduated with a Master of Science in the area of plant biochemistry and cell biology in 2012.
Awarded Ph.D. (Dr.rer.nat.) in 2016 at the Schwann-Schleiden-Research Center of the Georg-August University Göttingen for studies in the field of molecular- and cell biology of plant-microbe interactions with a focus on plant innate immunity, in particular studies on the biochemical and cell-biological analysis of membrane bound receptor proteins.
Post-doctoral work at the Georg-August University Göttingen relating to the purification and analysis of individual components of plant receptor complexes.
Scholarship from the Friedrich-Ebert Foundation.
Studied „Intellectual Property for Engineers and Scientists“ at the Beuth University in Berlin in 2013.
Active in the area of intellectual property with a focus on protecting chemical and life science inventions since 2016.
